Ms. Margaret performs Keith Jarrett - Koln Concert

"To be a jazz musician is to dream, think, listen, breathe and play jazz daily... It is an obsession I suppose, a very philosophical obsession." (Margaret, 2008)

Ms. Margaret is performing Keith Jarrett's legendary purely improvised, solo piano "Koln Concert". Jarrett's spontaneous composition was originally performed and recorded in 1975. The "Koln Concert" has sold over 3.5 million copies and remains the one of the top selling solo jazz albums ever. In 1991 a transcription - a process which Jarrett oversaw - was released. Ms. Margaret came upon the transription and immediately committed herself to re-creating this brilliant moment in music history. Jarrett's music remains captivating and awe inspiring. Please join Ms. Margaret for her up-coming performances of the "Koln Concert"
